A hands-on activity for groups, which look like home cooking and everybody is expected to do something. We will prepare the dishes while the oven is being prepared too, we will explain the differences in the procedure, the old ways and the reason this tradition is still alive (our Sunday traditional dish is cooked in a wood oven and also our Easter lamb), we will wait for our dishes to be cooked while making salads and dips and at the end, we will all eat the results of our efforts and realize why wood oven slow cooking is a trend again!
The recipes are given in paper and they can be described as “the usual stuff we eat at home daily”. They are selected though, because they can be done in a wood oven within the session time. Foodstuffs are fresh and local, and are found in the market or friends’ gardens that day.
The experience can be combined with Greek live music.
Duration: around 4 hours (maybe a bit more) including eating lunch.
Number of participants: 2 – 10 persons
private and shared option available, please ask us!
