It is held in a traditional home kitchen and it is not like a lesson, although you learn a lot!
It is like cooking at home with friends, while talking about everything (history, every-day’ s life, traditions, things to do and see on the island, etc). Everybody is expected to do something, so, during the session, we cut, chop, fry, fold and talk while tasting local treats and drinks.
The recipes you will take in paper can be described as “the usual stuff we eat at home daily” and they are selected, among hundreds of Greek Gastronomy recipes, because they can be repeated at home – wherever home is.
Foodstuffs are fresh and local, and are found in the market or friends’ gardens that day.
If requested, it is also possible to have a home cooking SWEET experience while we will prepare different Greek sweets.
Around 4 hours (maybe a bit more) including eating lunch or dinner or eating the sweets.
